Places To Visit

The counties of Surrey, Sussex and Kent contain outstanding areas of natural beauty and picturesque villages. Gardens to visit include Wakehurst Place,  Leonardslee and Nymans. Historic country houses in the region include Chartwell, Polesden Lacey and Hever Castle.  The city of London and seaside town of Brighton are just a 30 minute train ride from Gatwick .

Hever Castle

Hever Castle is a 13th century moated castle located in the village of Edenbridge, Kent.  It was once the childhood home of Anne Boleyn, second wife of  Henry VIII and mother of Elizabeth I.

Edolphs Copse

Bring your walking boots or bike and explore the Surrey Hills.  Leith Hill (the second highest point in Southern England) and Box Hill are both easily accessible by bike.  We offer safe and secure overnight storage of bikes whilst staying at Trumbles.  There are also plenty of walking routes from Trumbles where you can explore the peaceful surrounding countryside.

Brighton Pier

Brighton is bursting with attractions. It is home to the Royal Pavillion, has plenty of shopping, great places to eat and drink and stretching out into the sea is the famous Brighton Pier.  Certainly enough to fill an entire day out for all the family.
