Trumbles Guest House offers Bed and Breakfast Accommodation close to Gatwick Airport.


  • Bookings can be made by Phone, Email and On-line through this website
  • Trumbles offers Transport to and from Gatwick Airport between 06.00 – 22.00 by means of a minibus
  • A Taxi can be arranged for transfers TO Gatwick before 06.00
  • Transfer FROM Gatwick after 22.00 and before 06.00 are by taxi  arranged by Guest
  • The closest Bus Stop is in Charlwood Village which is around a 10 minute walk from Trumbles
  • The closest Train Stations are Horley and Gatwick Airport which are around a 10 minute drive from Trumbles

Arrival and Car Parking Facilities

  • Car Parking is available at the front of the house – there are 7 spaces for overnight guests, 1 space per room
  • Assistance with luggage from the car to the house is available on request
  • Parking spaces are approx 5 m from the front door
  • There is access to the rear of the vehicle once it is parked
  • There are no steps or dropped kerbs on the driveway
  • Driveway is block paved
  • There is a Door Bell provided in order to gain access on first arrival – once guest has arrived a front door key is given in order to gain access once checked in
  • There is lighting at the front of the house after dark
  • There is one step over the front door
  • The entrance is on the level

  • There is 1 x 10 cm step through the front door
  • Double front door is wooden and side hung
  • Width of doorway is 1.5 m when both doors are open
  • Chair in reception for guests use
  • Manned hours for reception and main doors is 07.00 – 22.00
  • Reception area is 2.5 m x 7 m
  • Double doors lead out of the reception area into breakfast area
  • Width of doorway is 1.5 m when both doors are open

Public Areas – Lounge and Breakfast Room

  • Guest Lounge on Ground Floor on the level – no steps
  • Breakfast Room on Ground Floor on the level – 1 x 5 cm step to go over

  • There is no lift or escalator
  • There are 2 floors, ground floor and 1st floor
  • Staircase which leads from ground floor to 1st floor consists of 22 steps, which are 15 cm high
  • Staircase has a width of 90 cm and has a hand rail
  • Flooring in Hallway, Stairs and Landing is carpeted throughout

  • Public WC located on Ground Floor

Bedrooms and Sleeping Areas

  • There is 1 Ground Floor room in the main house which has a Kingsize bed plus bunk beds
  • The room has an en-suite consisting of a WC, Wash Basin and Shower
  • The bedroom has a Flat Screen TV with Teletext and Subtitles
  • There are 2 Double rooms in a Ground Floor Annexe next to the main house.
  • These rooms have Kingsize beds and en-suites with toilet, basin and rainfall shower
  • The other 5 Guest Bedrooms are located on the 1st Floor
  • All rooms are en-suite
  • There are no hand rails in the bathrooms or bedrooms
